CAT'S
EYE : Also known as Cymophane
or Chrysoberyl Cat's Eye, this is the
name given to the yellow, yellow-green,
or grey-green variety of Chrysoberyl,
which displays the phenomenon of
Chatoyancy (Cat's Eye). Some fine
gemstones are honey brown. The Hindi
Name for this Gemstone is "LEHSUNIA".
Appearance :
The typical colour is
greenish-yellow or yellowish, sometimes
with a rather cold, almost grayish tone.
Some fine gemstones are honey brown. It
has a good lustre due to its hardness.
Occurrence :
The finest Cat's Eye occur in Sri Lanka
and Brazil.

Gemstone are Colour Changing Synthetic
Sapphire, Garnet, Spinel, Fluorite.
